i’ve been up and down old 66 and national old trails highway since the 50’s and haven’t figured what inspires the tunnel and waterfall w/bridge . i like the sequence (as well as the whole movie). yes one can drive perhaps 80% of the entire length. keep in mind that a number of different alignments of the highway used over the years still exist.

I love the video and the song you chose for it.
Route 66 haunts me.
As a kid, I traveled that road many times in the mid 60’s from MO to CA.
The flashback in the movie is no exaggeration.
I saw it first hand when it was bright bustling and happy.
It was JUST like in the movie.
I’ve traveled the same ground recently.
It’s like a plague came through or bombs went off.
It’s hard to find 2 stores open next to each other.
It’s like the ghosts of station attendents r still waiting in ruined stations4u

If that’s what the movie is about, yeah
Route 40 is very boring and route 66 was a
great highway.
